reactionWould you agree that how you respond to an event creates our outcome.  Every situation we encounter will have a different outcome dependent on our response.  Here’s what I see…an event happens, we respond and that creates our response.

When I’m talking with my children about situations, I try to help them think about the different options they have to choose….and each one can be very different.   For example…the way they speak to someone can create a very different response if it’s not in the right tone or language…I’m sure you all know what I’m talking about here!!

So lets talk about politics…2016 has been an eventful and historic year, wow…who would hrzvykamoave guessed all of this?  I don’t generally get too caught up in all of this stuff because I don’t find it particularly truthful and very positive.  I do vote however and I do believe everything happens for a reason, it doesn’t make it right of course, but that’s just my opinion.

Sometimes things can turn out in a positive way.  Right now no one knows as we are in a period of uncertainty which makes us feel unsafe.

I do believe it’s important to let out your feelings whatever you feel and find a way of dealing with that.  As I do believe they potentially may show up in another way.

two-hands-reach-out-sky-cloudsWhat I am feeling right now is this is an opportunity to reach out to those that are suffering or feeling down about the news.  Maybe you have something to offer to help them, and even if you don’t have a business offering or service, you can offer love or support to people around you.  And of course it’s up to you what you decide to do and feel, but there is support out there if you need it.  But I also feel being a Mum I am responsible to my children and I am always keen to show them that we don’t have to dwell or wallow in stuff that is beyond our control.  Teaching our children the skill of moving on and finding a positive spin is a great lesson.

I really feel this is about giving and making difference, so on that note I would love to offer a complimentary 1-2-1 coaching call to anyone who feels they would like help in their responses to situations in the world or their life.  Drop me an email here and we can set up a time.  I would love to hear from you.

Keep shining,
